# Change or reset your password

> Update your Freshmango password from Settings, or reset it at /reset-password if you forgot it. Secure your account with a strong, unique password.

You can change your password anytime from **Settings** inside the app. If you forgot it, use the password reset page to receive a reset link by email.

## Change your password while signed in

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Settings">
    Sign in to [https://app.freshmango.ee](https://app.freshmango.ee), click your avatar, then choose **Settings**.

  <Step title="Go to Security">
    Select the **Security** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your current password">
    Type your current password, then enter your new password twice.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Update password**. You will stay signed in on this device.
  </Step>

## Reset a forgotten password

<Steps>
  <Step title="Visit the reset page">
    Go to [https://app.freshmango.ee/reset-password](https://app.freshmango.ee/reset-password).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your email">
    Type the email address associated with your account, then click **Send reset link**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your inbox">
    Open the email from Freshmango and click the reset link. If you do not see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a new password">
    Enter a new password, confirm it, and click **Save**.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  The reset link expires after a short time for security. If it expires, request a new one.
