# Manage email notifications

> Control which emails you receive from Freshmango, including application updates, mentor session reminders, and messages. Adjust your preferences in Settings.

Choose which emails you receive from Freshmango so you stay informed without clutter. You can turn categories on or off from your notification preferences in **Settings**.

## Notification types

The emails you may receive include:

* **Application status changes** — updates when your application moves to a new stage or when an AI evaluation completes
* **Mentor session reminders** — upcoming session alerts and calendar invites
* **Messages** — new direct messages from mentors or program admins
* **Workshop and event alerts** — reminders for upcoming workshops and community events
* **Billing and payment** — receipts, payment confirmations, and failed payment notices

## Change your preferences

    Sign in to [https://app.freshmango.ee](https://app.freshmango.ee), click your avatar, then choose **Settings**.

  <Step title="Go to Notifications">
    Select the **Notifications** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Toggle categories">
    Turn each email category on or off. Changes apply immediately.
  </Step>

<Note>
  Some emails, such as security alerts and critical application updates, cannot be turned off.
</Note>
