# Find and book mentor sessions

> Learn how mentor selection works, how to browse and select mentors, and how to book sessions on the Freshmango platform.

Mentorship is the final step of the 9-step application journey. Once you reach step 9, you can browse mentors, select the best fit for your startup, and book sessions.

## Mentor selection (step 9)

After completing the first 8 steps of the application journey, you are eligible for mentor selection. Browse the mentor directory and choose mentors based on their expertise areas and availability.

## Browse and select a mentor

    Go to **Mentorship** in the main navigation.

    Browse mentor cards to see expertise areas, background, and availability.

  <Step title="Select a mentor">
    Click a mentor to view their full profile. Click **Request mentorship** or **Book session** to start working together.

## Book a session

Once connected with a mentor, you can book sessions directly through their calendar. Freshmango integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar, so available time slots are shown in real time.

  Mentors manage their own calendars. If no slots appear, check back in a few days or send a message through the mentor messenger.
