# Invite and manage your startup team

> Learn how to invite co-founders and team members, manage roles, join via team links, and remove members from your startup.

The `/team` page lets you build and manage your startup team. Add co-founders, assign roles, and control who has access to your workspace.

## Invite a team member

  <Step title="Open Team">
    Go to **Team** in the main navigation.

  <Step title="Send an invite">
    Click **Invite member** and enter the email address of the person you want to add.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign a role">
    Choose a role for the invitee. Common roles include co-founder and team member. Roles affect access and permissions inside your startup workspace.

  <Step title="Send the invitation">
    Click **Send invite**. The person receives an email with a link to join.

## Join via a team link

If you have a team-join link (for example, `/team/join`), open it while signed in. You will be added to the startup team immediately if the link is active.

## Remove a member

In the **Team** page, find the member you want to remove. Click the menu next to their name and select **Remove from team**. This revokes their access immediately.

<Warning>
  Removing a member does not delete their account. It only removes them from your startup workspace.
