# Freshmango founder access tiers explained

> Understand the three Freshmango founder tiers: Pre-Application, Applicant with Community Access, and Enrolled with Full Platform Access.

Freshmango uses a three-tier model to control what founders can see and do on the platform. Your tier depends on your progress in the application journey and program enrollment.

## Tier comparison

| Tier   | Status          | What you can access                                                                                                  |
| ------ | --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Tier 1 | Pre-Application | Onboarding flow; no program tools or community yet.                                                                  |
| Tier 2 | Applicant       | Community, founders directory, workshops, events, my-application, settings, profile, changelog.                      |
| Tier 3 | Enrolled        | Full access: dashboard, tools, framework, analytics, team, mentorship, add-ons, perks, workshops, community, events. |

## How tiers work

* **Tier 1 — Pre-Application:** You have created an account but have not submitted an application. Freshmango pushes you through onboarding to complete your profile and apply.
* **Tier 2 — Applicant:** You submitted an application and now have **Community Access**. You can connect with other founders, attend workshops and events, and track your application status, but program tools and mentorship are locked until enrollment.
* **Tier 3 — Enrolled:** You completed the full nine-step application journey and are enrolled in a program. You now have **Full Platform Access** to every founder route, including tools, framework modules, analytics, mentorship, add-ons, and perks.

  The nine-step journey from Tier 2 to Tier 3 includes: Application Submitted, Application Editing, AI Evaluation, Evaluation Call Booking, Information Hub, E-Signature Request, Program Payment, Onboarding Call, and Mentor Selection. If AI evaluation returns "Rejected," you remain at Tier 2.
