# Navigate the mentor dashboard

> Overview of the Freshmango mentor dashboard widgets, including assigned startups, upcoming sessions, unread messages, and pending reviews.

The mentor dashboard at `/mentor` is your central hub for tracking everything that needs your attention. When you sign in as a mentor, this page loads automatically.

## Dashboard widgets

Your dashboard shows the following sections:

* **Assigned startups** — the list of startups currently assigned to you for mentorship. Click any startup to view their profile, progress, and message history.
* **Upcoming sessions** — your next scheduled mentor sessions with founders. Click a session to view details, join links, or reschedule.
* **Unread messages** — incoming messages from founders in the mentor messenger. Unread threads appear here so you can reply quickly.
* **Pending applications to review** — applications assigned to you for evaluation. This widget shows how many are awaiting your input and links to the review page.

## Navigation tips

Use the sidebar to move between major sections of the mentor portal:

* **Dashboard** — return to this overview page.
* **Applications** — review and score applications assigned to you.
* **Sessions** — manage upcoming and past mentor sessions.
* **Messages** — communicate with the founders you mentor.

  Review pending applications and unread messages first so founders are not waiting on your input.
