# My Google or Microsoft calendar won't connect

> Fix Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar OAuth connection issues on Freshmango, including popup blockers, permission denials, and Workspace restrictions.

If your calendar connection fails, the most common cause is a browser popup blocker preventing the OAuth window from opening. Allow popups for **app.freshmango.ee** and try again.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Allow popups">
    Check your browser's address bar for a blocked-popup icon. Allow popups from **app.freshmango.ee** and reload the page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Connect again">
    Go to the calendar integration page and click **Connect Google Calendar** or **Connect Microsoft Calendar**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Grant all requested permissions">
    In the OAuth prompt, approve every permission Freshmango requests. Denying calendar-read or calendar-write access will break the integration.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete the callback">
    You are redirected to **/auth/callback/:provider** and back to Freshmango. Your calendar should now show as connected.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Other causes

* **Work Google Workspace blocks third-party apps** — Some company administrators restrict OAuth apps. Ask your IT admin to approve Freshmango, or connect a personal Google account instead.
* **Already connected to a different account** — If you previously connected a different Google or Microsoft account, disconnect it first in your Freshmango settings, then connect the correct one.
* **Browser extensions interfering** — Ad blockers or privacy extensions may block the OAuth flow. Try in an incognito window.
* **Microsoft 365 admin consent required** — Organizational Microsoft accounts sometimes require admin consent for calendar apps. Contact your IT team if you see an admin-consent error.

## If that didn't work

Include your account email, which provider you are using (Google or Microsoft), a screenshot of the error, your browser and OS, whether you are on a work or personal account, and the timestamp of your last attempt.
