How AI evaluation works for Flagship applications - Freshmango Help Center

The AI evaluation is step 3 of the 9-step application journey. After you submit your application, an AI system reviews it against the Flagship rubric to assess fit and quality of thinking. A passing evaluation unlocks the next step: booking an evaluation call.

Flagship rubric and weights

The AI scores your application from 1 to 5 across six criteria:

The system focuses on the quality of your thinking rather than your current company stage.

Important rules

The AI does not penalize you for missing a pitch deck, having no fundraising plans, or being pre-revenue / pre-MVP.
There is a 24-hour cooldown between re-runs. If you edit and resubmit, the next evaluation must wait 24 hours.
There is no cross-program routing. If your Flagship application is rejected, you stay at Tier 2 (Applicant) and can consider other programs separately.

What happens next

If the AI returns an approved score, step 4 becomes available and you can book an evaluation call. If it returns Rejected, you remain at Tier 2 and can continue using community features, but you will not advance in this program.
